PELA Parents & Players,
Please download the PELA Fall 2010 Handbook (click link above), read & discuss the content in its entirety with your son. Note the new Code of Conduct & Sportsmanship Form as well as the Drug & Alcohol Policy.
Documents in HANDBOOK that need to be signed & turned in on Registration Day:
1. ___ 2010 Player Registration Form (only for new players OR if any info has changed) 2. ___ 2010 Proof of Insurance / Waiver & Release of Liability Form 3. ___ 2010 Photograph / INFO Release Form 4. ___ 2010 Code of Conduct and Sportsmanship Form
Also REQUIRED to complete registration:
5. ___ Medical History and Physical Form *(if not on file already/this form available on website) 6. ___ US Lacrosse Membership (number and updated expiration date) 7. ___ Fall Fee $300 - Make checks payable to PELA Important Notes:
The new lacrosse stick guidelines went into effect on January 1st 2010.
At the Registration Meeting, info about plans for “NEW” SPRING uniforms will be announced. (The Spring Uniforms will no longer be “team owned”—as each player will need to purchase “new” Spring Uniforms—more info to follow soon.)
PARENTS — Without each parent doing their part to support PELA, we cannot be the best that we can be—and our organization will suffer without YOUR much needed participation—whether that’s helping with concessions, gate/tickets, spirit-wear or wherever the need maybe. So contact: Laurie Winters laurie.winters@kbm1.com and get involved with one of the open positions on the Plano EAST Lacrosse Parent Committees today!
